What does each Plus benefit actually do?

Plus changes the AI companion first: a longer memory, fuller replies from a stronger model, saved notes and a style, and the ability to reopen a saved conversation where it stopped. It also adds a searchable list of 100 recent chats and a same-topic filter where human matching exists. Each benefit has a limit, described below.

Your chats remember you

A companion reads the recent conversation every time it replies. On Free it reads the last 20 messages, yours and its own, which is about ten exchanges, so in a long chat it starts to lose the beginning. On Plus it reads the last 60. That is three times as much of the conversation: the name of the friend you mentioned, the plan you were weighing, the joke from twenty minutes ago. It remembers only what is written in that conversation and in the notes you save; it does not read your other chats.

Pick up where you left off, any time

On Free, you can read a saved AI conversation, and Chat again starts a new one with the same companion. On Plus, you can reopen it and carry on: the companion picks the thread back up from the newest 60 messages. On either plan, a chat left open and idle pauses after 15 minutes and can be resumed from the same tab within 12 hours.

Fuller replies from a stronger model

Plus replies come from a stronger paid AI model and have about a quarter more room per reply, so a detailed answer, a story or advice is less likely to be cut short. The stronger model covers up to 300 replies a day, far more than a long evening of chat. If it is slow or unavailable, or after 300 replies in a day, the free models answer instead, and the longer memory and fuller replies still apply. A brand-new free chat also gets the stronger model for its first few replies.

Notes and a style for each companion

Plus adults with a saved account can save optional notes for each AI companion and choose a conversation style: Balanced, Playful, Calm or Concise. You decide what is saved. Notes are sent to the AI provider when they are used, and they are moderated before they are saved, so keep passwords and sensitive details out of them. Deleting notes stops their future use but does not erase replies already written in a chat.

History and search

Free shows your 20 most recent conversations. Plus shows up to 100 and lets you search them. The retention choice is the same on both plans: each saved conversation is kept until you delete it, unless you choose to remove your copy after seven days.

Same-topic matching

On the free plan, person-to-person matching pairs people who chose the same language; your topic does not filter who you meet. Plus members can switch on same-topic matching, so they are only paired with someone who picked the same topic, such as Deep talk or Advice. It narrows the pool, so on a quiet evening it can mean a longer wait.

What does paying not change?

Paying changes nothing about safety, labels, eligibility or data. Every message is still moderated before delivery, AI companions stay labeled from first message to last, human matching stays adults-only and off in the United Kingdom, nobody is guaranteed to be online, and we collect and keep the same conversation data on both plans.

• Safety rules. Every message is moderated before delivery on both plans. Plus members follow the same community guidelines and can be reported, blocked and banned like anyone else.
• The AI label. AI companions are labeled from the first message to the last, whatever you pay.
• Age and region rules. Human matching remains adults-only and unavailable in the United Kingdom and wherever your country cannot be determined. Plus cannot unlock it.
• Human availability. Plus cannot create a match when nobody compatible is online.
• Your data. Paying does not change what we collect about your conversations or how long it is kept.
• Chatting itself. Neither plan has a message limit, and nothing inside a conversation is locked behind Plus. Plus changes how much a companion remembers and how it answers, not whether you can talk.

Billing, step by step

How do you buy, renew and cancel Plus?

You buy Plus as an adult through Stripe checkout from the app, with or without a saved account. It renews automatically each month or year until you open Manage Plus and cancel, after which it stays active to the end of the paid period. Twelve monthly payments cost $95.88; the annual plan costs $59.99, which is $35.89 less.

Buying

Plus is for adults aged 18 or older. Checkout runs on Stripe, which collects the card or other payment method; ChatToAnyone never receives the card number. We keep your Stripe customer reference, subscription status and renewal date so the app knows your plan.

Plus attaches to the ChatToAnyone profile that bought it. If you have not saved your account with an email or another sign-in method, that profile lives in one browser, and clearing that browser's data can separate you from it. Save your account before or after buying if you want Plus and your history on other browsers and devices.

The annual plan, worked out

Twelve monthly payments of $7.99 come to $95.88. The annual plan is $59.99, which is $35.89 less, or about $5.00 a month averaged across the year. The annual plan makes sense if you already know you will use Plus for more than about seven and a half months of the year; otherwise monthly is cheaper.

Renewal and price changes

Both plans renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. If we ever change the price, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies, and the new price takes effect from your next renewal after that notice.

Cancelling

Open Manage Plus in the app to reach the Stripe customer portal and cancel. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep Plus until the end of the period you already paid for.

If a payment fails

If a renewal payment fails, the app shows that payment needs attention. Plus stays active while Stripe retries the payment, but only until the end of the period that was being renewed. Updating the payment method in Manage Plus resolves it.

When Plus ends

Nothing is deleted because a subscription ends. Your chat list goes back to showing the 20 most recent conversations, companions go back to keeping the last 20 messages in mind, saved AI conversations can be read but not continued, and saved companion notes can still be read or deleted but not edited. If you subscribe again, the Plus features return.

Refunds

Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, and nothing in our terms limits the cancellation, withdrawal or refund rights that apply where you live. If something went wrong with a charge, email hello@chattoanyone.com with the date and the last four digits shown on the receipt, never the full card number.

An honest recommendation

Who should buy Plus, and who should not?

Buy Plus if you come back to the same AI companion and want it to remember more of what you said and pick up where you left off. Skip it if you chat occasionally or mostly want one-off conversations with new people.

Plus is worth it if you have long conversations with a companion (Free keeps the last 20 messages in mind, Plus keeps 60), you want to continue a saved chat days later, you want fuller answers from a stronger model, or you want to search past conversations.

Skip Plus if you are hoping it will unlock something the free plan does not allow. It will not unlock human matching in your region, adult content, or a guaranteed partner. Free is not a trial: chatting has no message limit and stays free.
