ChatToAnyone is an independent editorial site covering online chat platforms and AI chatbots. We are not affiliated with Omegle, OmeTV, Chatroulette, OpenAI, Anthropic, Character.AI, Replika, Crushon.AI, or any other platform unless we explicitly say so.

What we cover

• Omegle alternatives — random video and text chat platforms that filled the gap after Omegle shut down in November 2023.
• AI chatbots — full-stack reviews of every major free and paid chatbot (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Pi, Character.AI, Replika, Janitor.AI, and more).
• ChatGPT alternatives — head-to-head comparisons for users looking for free, faster, more private, or domain-specialized AI assistants.
• Character.AI alternatives — roleplay and companion chatbot comparisons (without recommending NSFW services).

How we test

We sign up for and use every platform we recommend. For free services we run real conversations across multiple sessions and devices. For paid services we trial the actual paid tier for at least one week before assigning a recommendation. We do not write reviews based on press releases or marketing copy.

How we rank

We rank by what the user is trying to do, not by what pays us most. A free product can rank #1 if it is the best fit. A paid product we earn nothing on can rank above a paid product we do earn on, if the unpaid one is genuinely better for the use case described.

Editorial guardrails

• We do not recommend NSFW chat services or platforms whose primary use case is adult content.
• We do not recommend "uncensored" or "no filter" services framed as policy-evasion tools.
• We do not promote services with a documented record of facilitating harm to minors.
• We do not accept payment for placement, "sponsored review" arrangements, or guest posts.
