Terms of Service

ChatToAnyone (“we”, “us”) is a real-time text messaging and AI-companion conversation service. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Who can use ChatToAnyone

You must be at least 13 years old to chat with our clearly-labeled AI companions. You must be 18 or older and complete our signed, session-bound age declaration to be matched with other people. We may add a third-party age-assurance check in the future. Under-13s are not permitted to use the service. If you are in the United Kingdom, you are matched only with AI companions.

2. Acceptable use

ChatToAnyone is safe-for-work and text-first, with no live video. In human chats, optional photo sharing may become available after 10 messages when image moderation is configured; every uploaded photo is moderated before it can be shown. You must not use the service to:

• share, request, or produce child sexual abuse material, or sexualise anyone under 18;
• harass, threaten, dox, or incite violence or self-harm against anyone;
• share illegal content, or use the service to commit a crime;
• share sexual or pornographic content, or solicit it from others;
• impersonate others, spam, scam, or attempt to move people off-platform to evade safety;
• attempt to disguise an AI as a human, or interfere with our safety systems.

3. AI companions

Some conversations are with an AI companion, which is always clearly labeled and never claims to be a person. AI companions are for friendly conversation only and do not provide romantic, sexual, medical, legal, or financial advice. AI responses may be imperfect; do not rely on them as fact.

4. Safety, reporting, and enforcement

Messages are moderated before they are shown. You can report or block a participant during any conversation, or contact us at safety@chattoanyone.com. We may remove content, suspend, or ban accounts that break these terms, and we report child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities. UK users can also complain to Ofcom.

5. ChatToAnyone Plus (subscriptions)

Plus is an optional paid subscription: US$9.99 per month or US$59.99 per year, billed in US dollars by card through our payment processor, Stripe. Plus keeps your chat history beyond the free 7-day window, lets you continue an AI companion conversation where you left off, and is always ad-free. You must be 18 or older to buy Plus.

• Renewal. Plus renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• Cancelling. Cancel any time from Manage Plus in the app (the Stripe customer portal). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; you keep Plus until then.
• Refunds. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law (for example statutory withdrawal rights in the EU/UK, which you waive by starting to use Plus immediately, or where we fail to provide the service). Contact hello@chattoanyone.com if something went wrong with a charge.
• Price changes. We will tell you at least 30 days before a price change takes effect; it applies from your next renewal after that notice.
• Accounts. Plus is tied to the account that bought it. Save your account with an email address to keep Plus (and your history) across browsers and devices.

6. No warranty; limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
